Indian Air Force MiG-29 upgrade programme изделие 9-20, product 9-20 2011 Product 9-20 it's a export version of MiG-29SMT 9-19 for Indian Air Force, to convert older MiG-29. Also trainers MiG-29UB are converted to MiG-29UB-UPG (or UPG-UB) 9-53 (or 9-53I with suffix I for India). In February 2011 at airfield of the Flight Research Institute after MM Gromov in Zhukovsky perform a first flight of an Indian MiG-29 upgraded to standard MiG-29UPG. It was a great plan to modernization of 65 Indian MiG-29 and MiG-29UB, first six in Russia, rest in Ozhar factory (contract from 2008). First modernized were two MiG-29: KB 3301 to KBU 3301 and KB 3123 (KBU 3123), and one MiG-29UB KB 3306 (KSU 3306). About realisation read more in Indian Air Force section.
